  1. The Board of Directors must carefully review any resignation notices from the director that are sent and, if necessary, adopt a resolution accepting the resignation.
  2. Minutes of the Board of Directors meeting must also be prepared.
  3. Form DIR-12 should be used to notify the Registrar. The Board of Directors must be notified of the resignation within 30 days of the resignation’s receipt
  4. The board of directors should mention the resignation in the director’s report at the annual general meeting and should also be updated on the company website.
