Articles of association (AOA) are said to be the company’s charter. Every company must have a set of rules and regulations in place in order to function properly. The rules and guidelines regulating a company’s internal management are found in its articles of association (AOA). The Articles of association (AOA) should be followed when doing a company’s operations. The articles establish a legal agreement between the firm and its members. 

The AOA outlines the processes for carrying out different tasks, including the management and issuance of share capital, shareholder meetings, the appointment of directors, managing the company’s finances, and more. The company’s AOA shall follow the appropriate format specified in Tables F to J. When a business is incorporated, its articles must be registered. After formation, a business may seek an amendment to its articles if it is deemed necessary for management. By meeting the necessary legal conditions, all companies may alter the articles. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs governs the process for amending the articles.
